Mr. Samrao is a trial attorney with a career uniquely blending courtroom experience with advanced research and writing. He joined the Javid Trial Firm in 2026.

Previously, Mr. Samrao served as a Lead Appellate Court Attorney with California’s Court of Appeal. There, over six years, he helped write more than 200 opinions in cases involving complex issues covering employment law, environmental law, personal injury, municipal law, and administrative law. Mr. Samrao exercised his independent legal judgment when drafting these opinions while honing an invaluable research-and-writing ability.

Before working inside the courts, Mr. Samrao spent numerous years in public service as indigent defense counsel. He represented some of society’s most vulnerable individuals with care, compassion, dedication, ethics, morals, and zeal on a daily basis. He tried more than 50 jury trials to verdict, represented more than 1,000 clients, meritoriously argued hundreds of contested motions, and filed and argued nearly 20 writs and appeals.

Mr. Samrao received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University, School of Law, and his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fresno. He is excited to bring his knowledge and expertise in the law, superior research-and- writing, courtroom experience, and compassion for clients to the private sector.
